The Dresden Dolls’ second album, the first one (and last one) we made with a major label budget at Allaire Studios (now defunct) in upstate New York.
Still just mostly piano and drums with a smattering of other instrumentation, and made to capture our live sound. I think we managed.
Most of these songs were written in the four or five years between getting the band together and touring the debut record.
